A lover of all things local, original and unexplored, Kaylene is a champion of Australian production, based in Melbourne / Narrm. She grew up in the Mad Max-style industrial town of Morwell atop the lush traditional lands of the Gunai / Kurnai people.


Kaylene Tyler acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which she practices and resides, and recognises all First Nations peoples as the original storytellers and designers whose connection to country remains since time immemorial.
